White Buffalo is found and mined only in the Dry Creek Mine in Tonopah, NV by the Otteson family. Presumed to be turquoise and often confused with howlite, it is actually a mix of magnesite and alumite. The name of this beautiful stone was derived from the Native belief that white buffalos were pure and rare just like the stone.
Metaphysically, White Buffalo is said to bring happiness and good luck. Also known to be a power stone that balances both light and dark energies. Often used in Reiki practice.
